Proactively Ban Generative AI From External Party Communications

Avatar: hambudgie hambudgie

The proposal is that we ban generative AI from all external party comms, which is within the remit of the Media Working Group.

This would mean, in practice, that we allow the use of no generative AI tools in the production of content whatsoever. This requirement would be added to the social media policy document and to any working documents relating to content creation.

We would probably need to define "generative AI tools" more tightly moving forwards; that's something we could discuss as a group.

In the interest of keeping everyone informed, a similar proposal is going into the Operational Working Group regarding internal party communications.
