How do proposals work?

Anyone who is eligible for participation in a given assembly may make a proposal in that assembly. This often includes non-members, who are referred to as participants for this reason. Who can participate in an assembly is always indicated on the hub page, as below.

A screenshot of a section of an assembly hub page. The text reads: who participates: all antiZionists ... what is decided: anything relating to anti-Apartheid action ... how we decide: consensus

This is usually displayed at the bottom of the assembly hub page. If you match what is written in who participates, then you may make a proposal in that assembly.

Proposals which receive no votes will be archived after 14 days. Proposals which do not clear the current quorum for the assembly will be archived after 28 days.
