Make Amazon Stop Burning Useful Things

Amazon wastes millions of pounds worth of goods every single year by incinerating them.

I propose legislation requiring Amazon to retain unwanted goods for up to three months and provide a user interface for acquisition by the public at postal cost plus a nominal fee towards warehousing, but never more than 15% of the original value of the item.

Amazon would only be allowed to go on to dispose of goods rejected at lower cost by the public in this way.
