An ally assembly is an assembly which has no ability to form Party consensus and which has the sole function of supporting a community advocacy assembly.

Ally assemblies counteract the threat of segregation by allowing allies into the room once the decision has been made. This ensures the integrity of democracy for all oppressed members and participants while simultaneously allowing allies to stand shoulder to shoulder with their comrades.

Ally assemblies volunteer labour and are asked for labour. They are solely oriented towards supporting their partner assembly. For example, the Disabled Liberation Allies Assembly is partnered with the Disability Activism Assembly.
